This page covers the Charme romantic classic bedroom and how to keep its mood. Charme was known for romantic, harmonious shapes enriched with floral details, and the page listed a large wardrobe in solid wood. Here, an upholstered bed, a sliding wardrobe and a dressing mirror carry the same softness.
Building a romantic mood with finish and fabric
A romantic bedroom relies on warm finishes and soft upholstery more than on extra ornament. Cream, hazelnut and a gentle white keep the carving soft. The Opera Upholstered Bed, 200x200 cm by Francesco Pasi has an upholstered headboard and comes in Luxury Cream, Hazelnut or White. The floral details of the old Charme pieces can return through hand-painted finishes rather than extra carving.
A wardrobe with wood panels
Wood panels on sliding doors bring texture to a large wardrobe. The Gran Guardia Wardrobe, 2 Sliding Doors, Wood Panels by Francesco Pasi measures H 250 x W 244 x D 67 cm, with carving made entirely by hand in solid cherry. Luxury Cream with hand-painted details suits a floral scheme. See the full italian bedroom suite.
A dressing mirror by the window
A dressing mirror with three drawers gives the room a place for perfume and jewellery. The Gran Guardia Dressing Table Mirror, 3 Drawers by Francesco Pasi has gold leaf or silver leaf applied by hand, and its doors and drawers are solid wood, 34 mm. At H 99 x W 118 x D 27 cm, it fits a short wall beside the window. For contrast in other rooms, see high end modern furniture.
